missions

We desire to facilitate every member of EBC to live as a Spirit-filled Family of Missionaries through strategic partnerships that are both domestic and foreign.

Missions & Service Focus

Reaching Our Neighbors

The first step to reaching our city is for Emmanuel members to take the gospel into their communities. As we disciple our congregation, we aim to cultivate a vision for living as Christians in our world. We will train and equip our people to share the gospel with their friends, coworkers, family, and neighbors. We believe the church should be sent out every Sunday to be lights in Rutherford county and beyond. Living on mission is the foundation for reaching our city.

Church Planting & Revitalization

At Emmanuel, we recognize the need for healthy churches in our city. We currently support Antioch First Baptist Church in its efforts to grow into a thriving congregation. Additionally, since Emmanuel Baptist is a product of a church plant, we too recognize our call to plant new churches. As we continue to seek the Lord’s guidance, we aspire to be involved in more church planting and revitalization efforts in the future.

Serving the Needy & Vulnerable

We recognize the need to help those in our city who are struggling. Our primary avenue for serving those in need in our community is through the Emmanuel Baptist Food Pantry. Additionally, we will continue to explore other organizations and opportunities that can assist us in serving our community effectively.
